Single-Bitt-Keyway
The sintered single-bitt-keyway Keyhole Insert has the keyway totally enclosed within a 19mm round body with a 25mm diameter shouldered face.
These inserts will suit
- All 102, 600 and 900 series lock installations, and
- All ‘older’ series safe lock models.
To install
- Simply drill a 19.0mm hole through the steel plate door, countersink the inside surface to allow for a strengthened weld joint, and then dress-off the surface and fit the lock.
Options include
- Sintered 3, 6, 9, 12 and 22 mm inserts.
- These length options are quoted relative to the inside shouldered face that sits flush to the door.
- A 600-Series M/S 12mm restricted profile insert is also available.
Double-Bitt-Keyway
The sintered double-bitt-keyway Keyguide has the keyway totally enclosed within a 16.5mm round body with a 22mm diameter shouldered face.
These inserts will suit
- A 700-Series lock installations.
To install
- Simply drill a 16.5mm hole through the steel plate door, countersink the inside surface to allow for a strengthened weld joint, and then dress-off the surface and fit the lock.
Options include
- Sintered 18 ,33 and 56mm keyguides are available.
- These length options are quoted relative to the inside shouldered face that sits flush to the door.
- 12mm and 18mm diecast D-Section keyguides are also available. These being a glued-pressed-fit installation.
